SEND Information whilst remote learning

For information regarding SEND you can click this link: SEND information

We recognise that some children, for example children with SEND, may not be able to access remote education without the support from adults at home. We recognise the difficulties this may place on families and we will work with parents and carers to support the children in the following ways:

  • There will be two adults on live lessons to be able to answer any questions or queries for the children.

  • Children may receive extra support through support sessions following live learning.

  • Support staff will continue to provide intervention sessions and materials through Seesaw and where possible live Teams sessions.

  • Where children have a specific plan, we will aim to provide these virtually for the children through Teams and Seesaw.

  • Children with EHCPs should be in school where it is safe to do so and we will endeavour to provide the support outlined on the child’s plan. Where children with EHCPs are learning from home we will upload interventions through Seesaw/Tapestry or hold live lessons.

  • Parents and carers can also request contact from the SENCo to seek advice or support where needed by contacting the school office.
