At Gordon, to ensure that our pupils can maximise their academic, social and physical development, we strive for our curriculum is relevant, meaningful, engaging and enjoyable. We have carefully designed and implemented our curriculum to ensure it is broad, balanced and suits the needs and interests of our children.
At Gordon, we have a set of attributes that we want all children to have mastered as they move through the school with us. We call these our 'Gordon Greats' and they are:
Ambitious, Brave, Confident, Kind and Proud.
Our Curriculum is split into 6 areas: Thinking Artistically, Thinking Academically, Thinking Globally, Thinking Healthily, Thinking Inclusively and Thinking about their Thinking.
To ensure that our children develop as individuals through the six thinking areas, we have enhanced our curriculum offer to include a wider range of learning opportunities. These are the subjects which fall under each curriculum area.
