Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills, which inspect and regulate services which care for children and young people, and those providing education and skills for learners of all ages.

Data Dashboard
The Department for Education produces a “Data Dashboard” for each school in the country. The purpose of this Data Dashboard is to allow parents to see how students in the school are performing compared to all schools nationally and similar schools.
School Performance Tables
School Performance Tables are published by the Secretary of State on the Department for Education’s website. The Tables give information on the achievement and attainment of pupils and include information on finance, absence, school workforce and the most recent Ofsted reports.
The attainment and progress data in the Tables is designed to be considered alongside other sources of information such as Ofsted reports and school prospectuses.
